This March the Truman Profile has it’s spot on the coffee lover Keith the Fox,
who was kindly adopted as a cub by Richard and Gerard at the Nude Espresso Roastery.
You might be familiar with the popular Nude Espresso coffee shop on Hanbury street.
But did you know that they roast their own coffee on the other side of the road!

Tucked away at the Truman Brick Lane Yard and only known by dedicated locals,
theses guys fill the air with curious looking smoke and a smell that would make anyone
crave for a cup of what’s roasting. |

What brings you to the Old Truman Brewery? When, how, why… What’s your story?
I was born in 'east' London in the little garden at the back of the cooperage yard next to the Nude Roastery.
My parents died when I was young, after eating a dodgy kebab. Rich and Gerard took me in and cared for me
and I have not looked back since. I am now the most qualified fox on Specialty Coffee in London. |

Have you noticed any changes since you last retreated to your lair?
Not yet as I woke up so very hungry, I spent the last week working my way through
the Nude Espresso brunch menu. |

So what’s so special about Nude’s coffee?
Where do I start?
They only source the best coffee beans in the world and lovingly roast them fresh daily.
Just the smell of it gets me licking my chops uncontrollably. |

I don't dance I howl....wanta howl with me darling x |

Where would you go in a time machine?
Rich and Gerard used to tell me stories at bedtime about the legendary Basil Brush.
He is my idol, I love Basil. I would love to spend a day with him as I have always wanted to get on TV. |

Are you taking part in the London Coffee Festival happening on site next month?
Yes, I'll be prowling around between the Cafe and the Roastery. If your lucky you might see me working in the La Marzocco Artisan cafe. I like to keep my nose to the ground (sniff sniff) and keep a close eye on my hood |

Nude Espresso is 5 this year!
What’s been the highlight so far and do you plan on celebrating?
Yes it's a marvellous achievement. I don't dwell on the past it gets me down, every day is a highlight!
The boys have promised to take me out in Dalston...I hear it is wild up there and we can all howl at the moon! |
