The annual Great Spitalfields Pancake Race is back and everyone is welcome to take part! All participating teams are provided with freshly made pancakes to race with and if that isn’t tempting enough, prizes will be awarded to the winners for best dressed team & the best behaved team. But hey it’s the taking part that counts, with all proceeds being donated to The London Air Ambulance, so go get a team together and apply for free at info@alternativearts.co.uk.

Expect everything from invisible cycling helmets to LED bike jackets from international brands and small independent makers alike.

CORBET PLACE // THE VERSATILE SPACE //
Sneakily hidden behind two unassuming wooden doors in a brick wall, this versatile venue has hosted everything from secret gigs and exhibitions to film shoots and of course, some exceptionally riotous parties!
One of the key features of this airy loft-style bar, include a secret back garden, and at the front a sunny outdoor bar and decked terrace complete with picnic benches, which are both hot spots in the summer months. But don't let that distract you from the charming indoor interior decked with brick walls and wooden horned chandeliers which create a truly urban and unique atmosphere.
Corbet Place is currently on the hunt for fresh Events Organisers and Art Collectives to bring some flair and exciting event ideas that are a cut above from the usual raving. 'MATERIAL WORLD' NO BARKING ART BIENNALE 2014 PART 1 // PUBLIC: 7th - 11TH MARCH //
Non-profit organisation, No Barking Art provides a platform for up and coming artists to exhibit and sell their work to the public. Part One of their latest stint in Shoreditch, ‘Material World’ is a contemporary art exhibition which aims to explore the relationship between objects, memory, and human condition.

TRUMAN HIGHLIGHT // GILES DEACON @ LONDON FASHION WEEK //
Giles Deacon’s contribution to London Fashion Week was held here at Truman Brewery’s popular events space, F BLOCK. The show featured super models of the moment, Jourdan Dunn, Kendall Jenner and not forgetting Cara Delevingne who made fashion history by taking the first ever selfie on a runway!
