The annual Great Spitalfields Pancake Race is back and everyone is welcome to take part! All participating teams are provided with freshly made pancakes to race with and if that isn't tempting enough, prizes will be awarded to the winners for best dressed team & the best behaved team. But hey, it's the taking part that counts, with all proceeds being donated to The London Air Ambulance, so go get a team of four together and apply for free at info@alternativearts.co.uk.

Music will be brought to you by legends Jazzie B and Don Letts with Burger Bear and Prairie Fire BBQ & co providing delicious street food. Always a great atmosphere!

Stolen Space takes us into the new month with two brand new exhibitions. 'MEGGS' in Gallery 1, is a satirical solo exhibition from the LA based artist who 'toys with current fractures in the social fabric of urban society'.
Whilst 'Snik' in Gallery 2 will showcase the works from the stencil artist duo from the UK who are known for their "signature high level realism through hand cut layered stencils".

Its key features include a secret garden and outdoor bar, which are both hot spots in the summer months. But don’t let that distract you from the charming indoor interior decked with red brick walls and chandeliers which create a truly urban and unique atmosphere.
Corbet Place is always on the hunt for fresh event organisers and art collectives to bring some flair and exciting event ideas that sets them aside from the usual raving. Whether you're a Pilate's lover, marathon runner or just got that New Year fitness bug, Primark have put together a collection which lets you stay fashionable whilst working out. They photographed their new kit in F Block, a popular place for shoots due to its industrial warehouse characteristics, which complimented the casual grey marls, neon yellow accents and monochrome markings of the range.

Ted Baker kicked off January with a preview fashion show here at The Old Truman Brewery, showcasing a taste of what’s on offer for men and women this season. This was followed by Truman special project, Fashion East as they held their Men's Presentations show during LCM. Their designers, including Marques' Almeida and Grace Wales Bonner wowed crowds at the biannual event which supports emerging British talent, a perfect way to enter each menswear season.

Innovative art company, Paint Jam London held a pop-up painting workshop in our location of the month, The Boiler House at the start of the year. The event puts a fun twist on corporate parties, with a bar and DJ on hand to boost the atmosphere.

YSL LOVES YOUR LIPS //
High end fashion brand, Yves Saint Laurent painted Brick Lane red this month as they launched their brand new Volupté Tint-in-Oil gloss with a little help from super model, Cara Delevingne and her sisters. Other VIP guests joined the YSL spokeswoman, including Lilah Parsons, Jess Glynne and Pixie Lott as they partied in Truman’s Boiler House.

This month's #locationofthemonth is The Boiler House; home to original brewery features such quarry tiled floor and the famous Truman chimney. Its high ceilings and large windows fill this stunning warehouse venue with plenty of natural light creating the perfect venue for fashion shows, parties and music venues with previous clients including Puma, Ben Sherman, Nissan, Jim Beam and many more.
Be sure to visit the Boiler House Food Hall on the weekend when this glorious building is transformed into a multi-cultural cuisine paradise.
