London Beer Week is BACK 22-28 February! As well as a week of beer exploration around London's best beer bars and breweries the festival is bringing its Hub to the Old Truman Brewery with four pop-ups for you to visit –from a Cornish beach bar to a Czech Club you can enjoy £3 beers in all – just get a wristband and get involved.
CRAFT BEER RISING //
F BLOCK // FEBRUARY 26TH - 27TH //

London Beer Week is taking over this month and we'll be having pop-up bars all over the place. That said, Craft Beer Rising is the one to watch out for! This is the fourth year that the festival brings 150 different exhibitors to our shores. Our biggest spaces will be jam packed with various beers and ciders, including a bar aptly named "Lost in Cyder Space". As if that wasn't enough, they'll be bringing us a great line-up of live music, loads of street food vendors, beer talks, debates with industry experts and of course, beer tastings. With over 600 different beers to try you’ll have no reason to leave.

Menswear is often forgotten about, but not on our turf. Jacket Required is an incredible premium menswear show, the exclusivity of the show's guests is only matched by the carefully curated selection put on display. They take over two floors of our site and fill it to the brim with vastly diverse contemporary casual wear including apparel, footwear, accessories and lifestyle products. Amazing style inspiration can be seen from miles away, all grouping together under one roof for a show you won't forget, until you come back for next season! Jacket Required is only open to buyers and press.

DRAY WALK // FEBRUARY 9TH //

Once again we're bringing a crazy fun event to our streets, if you've been with us for a while you'll know it's The Great Spitalfields Pancake Race. Every year, to celebrate Shrove Tuesday in style, Alternative Arts raises funds for London's Air Ambulance through a group pancake race. Each team of four is pushed to dress up and run up and down Dray Walk to win some cool prizes and show their support for a good cause. Cinema Jam is a London-based membership organisation for film professionals who come together once a month at Corbet Place for 'Jam Sessions', a private night of screenings, Q&As and industry talks.
Last month, we had a full house at Corbet Place Bar and Lounge with over a hundred Jammers coming to see guest speaker Walter Murch, the legendary film editor behind Apocalypse Now and The English Patient.

We are definitely looking forward to the amazing events happening at 93 Feet East this month… One of the biggest highlights is the Front Row Centre and Hot Vox collaboration bringing Farai & the Forest Dawn as well as a bunch of other artists to our attention. The night will be fully fledged with entertainment featuring live acts as well as insane DJ sets. The whole venue will be buzzing with energy, so make sure you don't miss out!

The Goldstar Bamboosax is a small instrument with a lot of soul, similar to a saxophone, you don't expect the amazing sound that comes out of such a tiny instrument. Chris Tummings, the stall holder, handcrafts each instrument using the finest treated bamboo. The instrument is great for professionals and beginners, and it is guaranteed to have you playing for hours. The unique instrument comes in the key of Bb, C, or Eb. If you wanted to start new hobby this year, this might be your chance!

Klaudia Krol is a funky creative jewellery designer with an eye for fashion. Her vintage clothes, handbags and shoes are sourced from all over the world, taking inspiration from different cultures and styles. All of the jewellery and clothing is inspired by her personal style and each design is unique. Klaudia Krol Vintage Clothes is one of the most dynamic and eye catching stalls of the 106 Vintage market. She doesn't even have a website yet, so everything she sells is exclusive to the market!

Unless you've been hiding in the suburbs, you’ll have noticed the not-so-new trend of bubble tea. The Taiwanese pearly milk tea blew up all over Europe so we knew we had to have some! Nosteagia uses tapioca balls and tea sent over straight from Taiwan to create one of the tastiest drinks you’ll ever have. Their high quality tea is available in an array of flavours including strawberry, mango, lychee, making sure everyone will find something they like. Or you could always take the risk and get them to whip you up a storm!

The corner of the 106 Vintage Market is filled with this fun-loving café and their delicious cakes. Beyond a shadow of a doubt the warm and welcoming staff will make you want to hide away from the crowds on Brick Lane, and bundle up with some amazing tea, and maybe even a little treat.

This past month we had a little something special stop by for the weekend! Our Legacy, an amazingly contemporary Swedish casual wear brand held a very popular sample sale. Not only did they have eye-catching posters around the city, but their exceptional pieces were definitely attention-grabbing too. The brand uses traditional fabrics from all over the world to create unique clothing with an authentic feel. The founders of the brand say that the clothes are "like a classic garment from your grandfather's wardrobe, remodelled to fit our life and our time." Hopefully they'll be back again soon!
