TRUMAN SPACES x PAM PAM LONDON
Celebrating the launch of the iconic Adidas Campus trainers, local women's sneakers aficionados Pam Pam took to our spaces with a shoot celebrating the London urban environment, focusing on the ever unpredictable weather of the city. Set design by Alice Andrews, and photographed by Tori Ferenc. More from Beth of Pam Pam here:
"The idea of Campus being a choice for "urban cultural movements" made us think more so of the backdrop of where these movements are set. London is one of the principal cities of cultural style and fashion leadership when it comes to the youth in urban society. The city itself presents a vibe that influences the way they move, talk, what they wear etc. Focusing on this backdrop or "city set", we wanted to explore the diverse nature of the city, particularly placing a spotlight on the elements and how changing nature can affect the feel of the day to day. London is known for its ever changing weather, more often than not it is wet and mist laden, and we feel showing the sneaker in these natural environments will enhance the idea of the 'gritty silhouette' of the campus.
To put it simply, our focus is the extreme and unpredictable weather elements of the city with a focus on rain, wind, extreme sun, pollution/fog, all set within an industrial backdrop. The spaces at the Old Truman Brewery were perfect for this.'
