Taking to the catwalk under Lulu Kennedy's mentorship, this edition of Fashion East for the AW18 season featured Supriya Lele (in her third outing) with her collection exploring her cultural British-Asian heritage; and ASAI (also in his third outing) blending the aesthetics of the fishing nets of Vietnam, classic British checks and all American denim looks. Also showing was newcomers Charlotte Knowles, and special guest brand Symonds Pearmain.
Previous Fashion East alumni making waves at London Fashion Week included sustainable designer Richard Malone, Matty Bovan and Simone Rocha; expect big things in the future from these exciting designers.

Triumphing with their debut in 2017, the very first Vegan Nights of 2018 was even bigger and brighter with the vegan behemoth ever increasing in size. The monthly celebration brings you the very best in Vegan traders to serve you the tastiest cruelty free grub to satisfy all palates. With a stellar line up of DJs keeping us on our feet all night long (hosted by the recently refurbished 93 Feet East). Last round we had our resident traders taking the main stage, including King Cook Daily and Temple of Seitan. The next Vegan Nights lands on March 8th, celebrating International Women's Day and will feature the entrepreneurial spirit of the women led enterprises involved at the very heart of Vegan Nights, such as traders Vida Bakery, Club Mexicana, Bright Zine and Spice Box, with DJs Melody Kane and Becky Tong (amongst others). Grab your tickets before they sell out and make your way down to support your favourite female vegan bad-asses!

Following an amazing year for Free Range, FR Awards winners gave three graduates the opportunity to run solo exhibitions simultaneously across 4 days in the heart of Brick Lane. In aid to celebrate new and emerging talent, supported by Metro Imaging who provided the graduates with an annual mentor-ship and personal support in the lead up to their exhibition. Photographer Alexander Mourant shared the journey of 'Aomori' created in Japan, whilst Manny Melotra exhibited the diaspora communities living together in Southall. Multiplicity collective (Clive Kudakwashe & Jess Thomas) showcased their practice and psycho sensual time traveling television drama, altogether making it an successful second round for the FR Awards.
