So Lauren, how did you get involved with Illustrated People(IP)?
I Started for Illustrated People March time, i started as an intern and progressed to part time and then to full time. I'm currently head of press, but because we're a small team I get involved with everything from social media to shape design, we all get our hands stuck into every aspect of Illustrated People.
What’s your favourite thing about working for IP?
The opportunity to be creatively free and have an open opinion about any aspect of IP.

If you were an item of clothing what would you be?
pyjamas.

Poppies (when they cook the chips right)

How does it make you feel when you see people wearing something by IP?
Extremely proud. We did that!
What can we expect to see in the new S/S13 collection?
Some sick new shapes and generally more good ol Illustrated Shit
Who does your Studio playlist include?
We Take it in turns so from dirty house to west coast hip hop, we have a classical moment or two too.
If you could have a drink with anyone(!) who would it be and what would you ask him/her?
Rhi Rhi, l'd ask her how she can smoke so much weed and still be runin the world.
What would be your superhero name and special powers?
I wouldn't want a super hero name but i've always wanted Bernard's watch. If thats a power? A sneaky power.
What’s your favourite current Illustrated people item?
Theres too many to chose from but at the moment it's gotta be our Leopard Print Jacket.
What are you scared of?
The deep deep sea. urgh
Who do you absolutely admire in the fashion world?
People doing there own thing, who DONT try too hard, it should be effortless.
If aliens landed in front of you and offered you any position on their planet, what would you ask to be?
