The Old Truman Brewery special project is one of the most important events in the creative calendar spanning over two months. It provides the platform for over 3000 students to showcase their talent in design, fashion, photography, art and architecture... THE LINE UP THIS MONTH… - DESIGN WEEK 1 + 2 (30 MAY – 02 JUNE + 06 JUNE – 09 JUNE) - FASHION SHOWS (05 – 09 JUNE) - PHOTOGRAPHY 1 + 2 (13 – 16 JUNE + 20 -23 JUNE) - ART + DESIGN WEEK 1 (27 – 30 JUNE) Stay tuned next month for Art + Design Week 2 and Interiors and Architecture week.


WORLD CUP SCREENING AT CORBET PLACE // CORBET PLACE // THURS 12 JUNE - SUN 13 JULY // East London’s best kept secret, Corbet Place will be showing all the main games from the FIFA World Cup on giant screens complete with comfortable sofas, private hire seating areas, a gourmet BBQ on our sun terrace, giveaways and more. DJ LOCKSMITH AT DEFECTED STORE //

Students from Kids Company’s DJ Academy were surprised with the appearance of Rudimental’s DJ Locksmith during a 1-2-1 masterclass with DJ, Rik Parkinson held at the Defected pop up store last month. The record label teamed up with music tech brand Pioneer for the class as part of their 15th anniversary.

Here at Truman our famous markets are home to some of the most acclaimed traders. This month one of the Sunday Upmarket cake traders, Kooky Bakes were featured in Buzz Feed’s list of the top 20 food vendors to visit in London (amongst a couple of our Ely’s Yard vendors may we add!) because of their award winning American inspired baked goods – what more reason to go give then a try this Sunday and support local!
