Supported by ACE and The Whitechapel Gallery, it promises to be a thought provoking and compelling work. |

They make getting into shape sound truly luxurious! Based at our main Z Block office Building this dedicated independent company has been offering bespoke fitness couching since 1997. Joining the Truman Hub back in 2006 the studio gives the intelligent approach to health, fitness and performance. Developed by director Michael Goulden they combine Muscle Activation Techniques with resistance exercises and nutrition coaching. All to deliver long-term results for fitness, injury recovery and professional sport performance.
What advice can you give people who want to get back into shape?
It's boring, but our advice would be to progress in the smallest steps you can. We all think that more is better, but many people who start a new exercise regime get injured. If you want to run a marathon, you don't run 26 miles on your first day!
Where’s your favorite place for lunch on site?
We've been debating, but for the meat-eaters amongst us it is Turner & Roast. For our daily caffeine fix, it is the Nude Espresso Roastery.
What do you think of Truman Brewery as a lifestyle hub?
We love that there are places within the Brewery to exercise, eat good food and have fun. We like being around other businesses where you get the sense they are pushing the boundaries of their respective industries - it creates an energy that is great to be part of.
Anything else you’d like tell our readers?
Education is a huge component of what we do, so alongside our one-to-one work with clients, we offer courses for exercise professionals and workshops to the public, with recent topics including practical nutrition, flexibility for runners and resistance training for back-pain.
